1. Event Overview

CODEKARX 2026 is a student hackathon organized by UNAI TECH. By registering, you agree to all terms outlined here. CODEKARX reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to all college students currently enrolled in recognized institutions across India.
  • Participants may register as individuals or in teams of 2–4 members.
  • All team members must complete registration before the event deadline.

3. Registration & Fees

  • Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
  • Each participant may register only once. Duplicate registrations may be revoked.
  • Fees are subject to change at the discretion of UNAI TECH.

4. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

  • Behave professionally and respectfully towards all attendees, mentors, judges, and organizers.
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior of any kind.
  • Maintain decorum in all official communication channels (WhatsApp groups, Discord, etc.).
  • Not engage in plagiarism, cheating, or any form of dishonesty.

Violation of the Code of Conduct will lead to immediate disqualification without a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All projects and code developed during CODEKARX 2026 remain the intellectual property of their respective creators/teams.
  • UNAI TECH may use project names, descriptions, and screenshots for promotional purposes only.
  • Participants should not use proprietary code from their employers or any third-party code that doesn't comply with open-source licenses.

6. Judging & Prizes

  • Judging criteria will be announced before the hackathon begins.
  • The decisions of the judges are final and binding.
  • Prize distribution is subject to tax deductions as per Indian regulations.
  • Winners must be present during the awards ceremony (virtual or in-person) to claim prizes.

7. Liability

  • UNAI TECH is not responsible for any technical issues, connectivity problems, or data loss experienced by participants.
  • Participation is voluntary. UNAI TECH is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from participation in the event.
  • Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their submissions do not infringe on any third-party rights.

8. Event Modifications

UNAI TECH reserves the right to modify the event schedule, format, tracks, or rules at any time. Participants will be notified of significant changes via email or the official WhatsApp group.

9. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.
  • If the event is cancelled by the organizers for any reason beyond their control, a partial or full refund may be issued at the organizers' discretion.
